The year in brief
- 2023 was a challenging year with increasing interest rates and low demand for new housing
- 87 apartments/townhouses were sold
- The demand for rental apartments remained high.
- Conducted two downsizings where a total of 147 of our co-workers were made redundant
- Worked to lower our emissions in a number of ways. For instance, through energy optimisation and by using building materials with less climate impact.
- Finalised our first homes getting the Svanen certification, a well-known Nordic eco label
- Carried out a ground-breaking project with the reuse of concrete elements
- Increased the number of summer jobs for youths living in our areas
- Continued our work with the Ikano Academy. Since 2014, we have helped 117 youths change their lives – from social exclusion to work or education.
- Finalised a workplace strategy and two of our offices moved to new and improved locations. Our head office in Stockholm will move to a new location in 2024.
- Was certified as a proactive workplace against alcohol and drug related problems
